Poorly written and needed better editing.I got this book when I saw on the description that it was a story about the main character traveling to her hometown of Elkhart,although the state of Indiana isn't mentioned,it becomes obvious when Goshen is also mentioned.The author needs to do more research.Having lived in Elkhart County for the last 50 years,I can say the Amish don't live in Elkhart,there are no buses that stop in Goshen.
A sweet story of friendships and budding love. Nice to see the Amish portrayed as knowing about English technology, instead of being over sheltered!
Tho was a great short story. You could almost see the dangers they faced and the joys of life. I also liked that it was clean reading. I would recommend it to anyone.
I thought this book was a pretty good read although I did not like the ending and it looked like the ending was very rushed ' although I enjoyed the book except the ending was rushed cannot wait to read Book 3 in this series.

Sweet but exciting about 3 Amish young adults as they get ready and travel to a friend's Wedding about 8 hours away. A flat tire in a heavy downpour, rising waters and an appendectomy all add to the excitement to this excellent story by Ruth Price
It was sweet but exciting. It kept me on the edge of my seat till everything was ok. When I read the last word I was looking to see if there was a book after this one. I want more about Martha and Jebediah. Do they get married and what happened to Fannie and Malek. Could they possibly get together.
